Icmeler Online Holiday Forum & Reviews - Turkey

I usually travel back to icmeler after June in October around the 1st for 3 weeks but have a family arrangement that i would like to stay for if i had too. Was wondering what Icmeler would be like in October around the last week as would maybe head off around the 10th for 3 weeks ?

Is everything really shutting down as when i have been there around the 3rd week things are kind of shutting down don't want to be the last few people there

I was there till the 21st last year, there was almost everything still open, did notice several bars closing at midnight on the last week.

The weather on the last week was very unpredicatable though, very warm but lots of rain, evening can be warm or chilly. Noticed last year October was a lot busier than normal, although the last week quietened down. Good for bargains and shopping though

I agree with Colette. We have been going the 2nd and 3rd week of October for the last 5 years, and last year the weather was not good, but it was still warm. Bargains galore as well...more than usual because they are trying to get rid of stuff before the season ends. Going back again this year

Hi, we also return for a week in October, as I am tied to school holidays with my work it is always late in October, like the other people have said it was a bit dodgy this year but usually hot in the day and a bit chilly at night, would agree about the bargains in the shopping, got loads of stuff for christmas presents, the only thing I would add was dont go half board or all inclusive at this time of year, we went all inc and by the niddle of the week the choice was virtually nil becaus they are winding down, much better going slef catering or b&b because the resteraunts will still have plenty of choice, they still want you money while the hotel has already had it! still had a lovely time though

so its pretty much not that different from the 1st 3 weeks then good to know as it is usually the 1st 3 weeks we go and didn't know if a lot started to shut down after we left

we were their in october it was warm with a few rainy days but a nice month to go
