Icmeler Online Holiday Forum & Reviews - Turkey

What sort of vinegar do they use in Icmeler, I love the taste as do the missus and kids, it seems less overpowering than the normal we get here. I know there is loads of different sorts you can get in this country I just wondered if anyone knew which variety it was called here, if it's available of course.

Mostly grape vinegar and very nice it is for doing my pickled red cabbage.

Also a pomegranate type though more like a balsamic and nice on hot onions

From what I can gather it's Fersan Grape Vinegar, Fersan being a Turkish company. I can't find it anywhere on sale in this country even online, does anyone know a site that sells it in the UK or a site anywhere to be honest, or anybody out there at the moment who would pick some up for me and would sort payment without a problem. there is a Turkish supermarket in manchester venus foods, we bought some SOLEN BISCOLATA STAR biscuits from there. They are the biscuits you get when you buy a coffee or a cup of tea at the sports bar. we also get from b and m the chocolate filled wafers called redondo aand these also come with a coffee/brew. i will have a look for the vinegar next time i am in there and let you know.

I took a trip to Venus supermarket this morning. Sorry Ade but they didnt have the vinegar you mentioned. I got a diifferent one which im gonna try and heres them biccies you get with a brew. I did try and sorry i drew a blank.
