Flight Change

We go to Icmeler 4 weeks today, so this morning thought I would go on the East Midland website to see if our plane is in the habit of leaving ontime.
The flight should leave at 8.00 am and was booked with Freedom Flights flight number SCY9911.

Imagine my shock when no flight came up by that number, but one did come up leaving at 7.00 am with a different flight number.

Couldnt wait till the flight office opened at 9 am then got straight on the phone,gave all my particulars afer being transfared to different offices a couple of times and was informed that my flight had been altered to the 7.00am flight number JN936.

Deep Joy again reigns in our house and we have an extra hour in either Icmeler or the new airport.

Moral is "never flap things will always turn out"

Hey Gene, long time no speak , thats strange because im booked on that flight in 2 weeks, booked it a year ago and its always been for 7am, wonder if theyve joined up 2 flights.

Thanks Alan,
I was going to explain that I looked at the flights today as Monday is the day we fly and flights are the same and fixed for every day of the week.
But I cannot look for departures on a Monday if I log in on Sunday.
Also if my flight is for 8.00am its no good looking at 9.00am because the flight will have gone unless there was a delay.

Sorry if its not clear I am even confused myself now.

More time for Efes Col, not if I am stuck at the airport with them prices.

Hi Lisa nice to hear from you and hope you all are keeping well.

I booked my flight on the 29th April 05 and was given that flight number but like you say may be consolidating two flights.

Went into the Dream 3 bell quiet a few times in May I think you will like the new place, a good improvement on the old one.

I looked on the gatwick departures but it's saying no searches have been found. Not sure whether that's good or bad. I didn't realise that the same flights went out each week - obvious now I guess * off to dye hair blonde!*

Gene: your flight is the same one we went out on on the 26th June, I've seen newer insides but it set off on time, got us there early (even more Efes time!) and the same coming back so I couldnt fault it, no entertainment on board and you get on at the back under the tail thingy .. a bit odd but like i said, got me there on time as promised .......

We have had our flight completly changed from Thomas Cook to Freebird Airlines.
When i checked with Manchester Airport they said that Freebird had only departed from there 3 times this year and normally on a Friday our flight is on a Monday we have had the tickets through and it says on there Freebird so will have to wait and see (we fly Monday 31st)
