hello all,we're going to icmeler in 5 days time (1st time in turkey) and read that they wouldn't accept £20 notes when paying for your visa at the airport.Can you still change £20 notes in the supermarkets though?

Yes Robin, you can use any English money in the shops. It just seems to be the airport which insists on tenners,don't know why.

robin,they will bite your hand off in the supermarkets for a £20 note,its just at the airport you will need two £10 notes,(or £10 per person if you know what i mean), have a good holiday.
