Antique City of Amos

Postby dksbbs » 17 Oct 2010 19:47

Has anyone been to the Antique City of Amos, I've read that its recently opened (When ??) although excavations will continue into next year, apparently its 24Km from Marmaris and can be reached by Dolmus or water taxi but I have never heard of it before.

Past Turunc going away from Marmaris, can see loads of remains from the sea but don't know what else there is.

hi Dave, believe Amos is a world heritage site - if you've been on any boat trips, Amos bay is just after Turunc heading back towards Icmeler - it's the one where there's a litte jetty in a small bay
