Hi Tony Army

The quad bike safaris are well organised and a 15 minute instructiuon session is given before you actually drive the bike, so that you feel safe and confident before setting off.Hope this helps.

We did the quads twice and if I can do it then anyone can! When we arrived we got a briefing and then taken to the quads which were lined up nearby. As long as you do what they tell you they are perfectly safe. We then got the chance to drive around in a circle and once the guides were confident that we were ok with the bikes we set off. There was always a guide at the front and one at the back so the pace is more or less set by them (it was in our case) I thought that I had gone really fast by doing 27kph but my teen topped 60kph!! You can go as fast or as slow as you want and your teen will love it. Top tip here is to take sunglasses for all that are doing this as the dust is kicked up by the bike in front of you, also take a cap as the sun is blazing. And make sure you are wearing old flip flops/trainers and old t-shirts as they will be covered in dust and probably suitable for the bin!
