NEW TURKISH LIRA?????

Just checked the exchange rate in the Daily Record in Scotland and it advises the rate is 1.13 new lira to £

I was not aware there was a new lira. Is this simply a misprint or have I missed something

hiya they changed the lira notes either last year or the year before cant remember which and now its known as the new lira
its not changed much but thats why its stated as the new lira in the papers

hi stewart i am familiar with the new notes for the lira, but a rate of 1.13 beats me ! ! hope some one can enlighten us or are we having a moment ?

think its just a misprint
i know the lira hasnt been performing that well this season as it has been low but thats too low

Must be an error, at the moment £1 is equal to 1.13 Euros
