Icmeler Online Holiday Forum & Reviews - Turkey

We just recently arrived back from our 3rd holiday in Icmeler with my hubby, daughter and two granchildren. The weather was very warm for this time of the year. We stayed at the Babadan apartments which were great. As usual we did not receive a lot of hassle that we have received in other resorts. We ate out on quite a few nights and thoroughly enjoyed the Broadway, Lemon Tree and the Wayside. At the Wayside my grandaughter asked for Irn Bru which they did not stock, but the Owner sent one of his staff to the local supermarket to get it. That is what you call service. Sadly we willnot be going to Icmeler next year as we have booked up for Cuba to celebrate our Silver Wedding anniversary, but we will be back the following year.

Nice to hear you had such a good holiday, and about the Irn-Bru, you're right, you don't get that kind of service elsewhere and it's little touches like that which make Icmeler so special.

I agree with you about the little touches we went to Icmeler in July/Aug for the first time and stayed in the old village, we went down to the beach everyday and caught the Dolmus back, two or three times there was no Dolmus going that way in, but when asked one of the other drivers who was going to Marmaris they got on their radio and radioed ahead and the Old Village Dolmus turned round and came back for us, at one time was told to get on the Marmaris bus and he took us to the Old Village Dolmus further up the road, were it was waiting for us!! were else would you get that only this week I have been left waiting at a bus stop in the pouring rain give me Icmeler everytime cant wait to be back next year
