Ince Apartments

Postby JohnM » 23 Sep 2010 10:19

Flying out of Birmingham on Sunday 26th, hopefully be in Icmeler around 5pm ish. My 1st time there but friends I'm going with have been before, anybody know what the Ince apartments are like? Friends dont recall them from last time they were there a few years back, just wondering what to expect. :)

Hi :-) i have been to Icmeler 11 times now, me and my mum love it! My stepdad is also from Turkey, we have stayed at the Ince Apartments twice before and i think it was 2006 and 2007! They were actually really nice! From what i can remember they were cleaned every day with fresh towels, it is about a 15minute walk to the beach and a 10minute walk to the centre of Icmeler. When i last stayed at the Ince there was a bar called Deja Vu across the road from the apartments and from what i've heard, its still there and you will find more bars close by. The poolside is clean and has a little bar where you can get food and drink, i think its also open at night if you dont feel like going out! The people in Icmeler are lovely and treat you just like family! I got back from Icmeler about 4 weeks ago and missing everyone so much already! Because we've been going for so long you see so many familiar faces its lovely to see them all again! I hope you have a great time, im sure you will :-)

Thanks elerijayne for replying, I'm sure we will have a great time. My friends have been before and loved it but they didnt know anything about the apartments nor could we find anything on the net. Thanks for the info, only going for a week but never know it may kickstart more visits. :D

No worries about the apartments at all, very clean and tidy (the one myself and my mate had was, his mrs and her auntie were messy :D ). Towels and sheets changed every other day, cleaners even tidied around and removed the empty Efes bottles we left on the side.

Only thing would have a niggle about was the poolside was extremely slippy when wet and could have done with some non-slip matting around it, other than that no complaints at all.

As said before was my 1st time in Turkey and didnt really know what to expect, but no worries at all here. I thought things were a little bit pricey compared to stories from friends who have been before, guess thats the problem with a global recession and if Turkey do enter into the Euro I guess things will rise again.

Great weather the whole week, rained twice while was there but nothing other than an hour or so very early in morning and another time for around 15 minutes. All in all very enjoyable holiday.
