NEXT YEAR

Postby carol0912 » 07 Sep 2010 13:48

Hi everyone, Just booked my flights for next year. Playing safe after losing flights with Goldtrail and kiss- yes twice. Booked with t***** C*** for 21 August, 2011 for 2 weeks and only cost £229. This includes 20kg plus 5 kg hand luggage. Been onto Prestij aparts and booked room for same. Only need to sort our transfers and that is us set for next year. Quite a lot of sleeps-too many to count but at least I know i am going. So excited.

Don't know where you are both flying from but prices do tend to differ depending on where you fly from. I have found that smaller regional airports are usually substantially more. Swings and roundabouts really as you do not want to be travelling hours and spending a fortune getting to and from your UK airport of departure, it eats into the amount you have saved on the cheaper flight.

Flying from Glasgow. 11.35 arriving 18.00. Coming back 19.30 arriving Glasgow at 22.10. Booked with local shop in Johnstone. Couldnt get them this cheap on web so try phoning local branches. Also booked meals which were £12 each return. Hope this helps, Carol

Whatever flight company you book with, make sure you pay in full at the time of booking so you get your Atol receipt.

Pay a deposit only and the company goes bust, you get nothing

Hi JT, Picked up documentation from T***** C*** today and had paid £100 deposit. Just thought I would let you know that it says you are covered by ATOL. You had me worried there.

Please read the small print.

You are NOT covered by Atol until the flights are paid in FULL
