PLEASE HELP ME!!!

Postby dazza_1985 » 23 Aug 2010 21:10

I am appealing for your help. Many of you have been to Icmeler several times before and know all the great places.

I am going to propose to my girlfriend in Icmeler as it is a special place for both of us, but as i want it to be really really special, I was wondering if anyone has got ideas on the perfect venue etc resturants, beaches etc???
Obviously i have a few ideas already. But i would like help. As i feel it would be good to be alone somewhhere in mountains or on a secluded beach or if possible have a meal on the beach im not sure if any restaurants could make this possible. Or somewhere that is quiet and romantic that i may have nott been before.

Any help would be gratefully appreciated!! xx

At the flag!
would be ace, with a view of icmeler below you, failing that the love boat is cracking but to be honest as long as its you both and the moment is right standing at a bus stop could be romantic!
good luck!

Flag would be nice but hard work.
My suggestion is an evening meal at the Cafe Del Mar overloking the sea. Perfect.

I agree with the above. Perhaps take a little walk there alone while your girlfriend is having a nap etc, anyway if you can get there alone before your planned date of proposal and have a word with the waiters I am sure they will reserve you the best table and even decorate it with flowers etc. Good luck. Oh how so very romantic and sweet.

Got any single brothers?

hiya dazza.
i proposed in 2006 to my now wife in icmeler.
i went for a walk along the front in the evening and proposed on the pier bit overlooking the sea.i had sneeked out earlier in the day and got the ring in icmeler aswell.(said i needed a walk.....too hot.....you know the one!)
then we went for a meal at the waterfall and she was made up.
trust me mate.get it done early in the holiday cos it gets you plenty of brownie points.
and then even better you get to come back the following year to icmeler on honeymoon and remenice how romantic you were the year before.
hope it goes well.

The Liberty bar up past Deniz Kapisi and just next to the Harmony (Stella Show) have tables out on a jetty with lights and is a very romantic setting for dinner. I can recommend it.

I suggegest the Cafe Del Mar too - you can't get much more romantic than that place without going too far, especially at night, with a warm breeze, lights twinkling on the mill-pond sea.... champagne on ice :D
