3 sleeps to go and we can not wait!!!! When we go away we always have one night when we treat ourselves to a seafood slap up meal. We both love crab and wondered where the best restaurant would be for this. We have eaten fab seafood in Spain and Thailand several times and wondered how the prices in Turkey compare. We don't mind paying for decent stuff but do restaurants offer price upfront? x

Seafood can be quite expensive, so I would certainly check the price beforehand. I've not seen crab, but some places do lobster - the Loveboat certainly had a tank with lobsters in it, although I know on some menus, you have to order the day before.

I have never seen crab either in any of the restaurants but maybe if you ask a restaurant a day or two in advance they will get and prepare it for you. I have found most of the restaurants very accommodating and will do their best to cook anything for you if not on the menu.

Make sure that you have a lot of money in your pocket for your seafood evening.

if you want seafood then you may be better going out of the resort to maybe Selimye or Sogut as this is where the fish are caught so a little cheaper

Would love to visit one of these places. Is it possible to get a water taxi or dolmus to either of them?

Is Amos Bay near to Icmeler? We havent been to Turkey before so unfamiliar with areas. Is Amos bay a restaurant or an area?

Amos Bay is a small cove around from the bay if Icmeler - I believe you can get a taxi boat there if not a taxi - we got there by a friends boat and it was delicious.

What was delicious???
