Hi we are just back from the blue star apartments in June. They are very very basic but we got a really good deal and aren't that fussy as we tend to spend most of the time out of the room anyway. There is the usual two rings and a kettle. The fridge we had needed defrosting so we could only get one bottle of water in. There is no hairdryer. There is an average sized pool with plenty of sun loungers. The apartments are around 15-20 min walk to the beach and town centre but a dolmus and taxis stop right out side it. The apartments have been took over by the old bar manager from efes inn (Mehmet) he is lovely and his wife and kids are usually there sometimes too. They hold a turkish night 2-3 times a week and we enjoyed them as Hasan the chef is great at cooking ! Faruk will love the attention when you watch him dancing haha ! and his brother noori is very helpful too ! We are returning in october to icmeler but not to these apartments as they are just too far from the town centre for us, but we will definitely go and visit mehmet and his team :)
