October Weather

Postby sheebs » 31 Jul 2010 18:16

After being bitten by the Icmeler bug and visiting for the 2nd time this year. We returned home just last week - and had a fabulous time. It's true that once bitten you want to return again and again. After making loads of new friends we want to return a third time in October and we are wondering what weather to expect , thinking @ 15 th Oct will the season be winding down and our frequented restaurants be open?. If we decide not to come in October we will defintely be there next summer staying at the Kleopatra where again you are looked after very well. We have never returned to the same place however just want to keep on spending time in Icmeler :D

We go every year in October, Weather still very warm, but evenings can be a bit nippy, so it is a good idea to take a cardi/light jacket. You may get a shower and a thunderstorm, but nothing that will spoil your holiday. Some restaurants are starting to close down, but there are plenty still open. Hope this helps

hi we always go , and have done for over ten years in oct.more sothe first two weeks of the month, its still warm into nov. but it gets dark sooner, cooler on a night and a light jacket or cardigan can be needed, through the day is still high twenties, the sea is still warm. a lot of bars/rest start to close the 3rd and 4th weeks if that matters much to you. enjoy BILL

We always go at the end of September into October as we find the weather very much to our liking, comfortable on the evening time.

hi we went that time last October and the weather was warm in the day, we even went to the beach and swam in the sea much to the delight of the locals who thought we were mad. didn't need a cardi in the evenings either, but also didn't use the air con in the apartment, it was quieting down but it was a lovely time of year to go.

October is perfect. Lovely and warm in the day but as said before can be a bit nippy in the evening. The sea is warm too unlike the beginning of the season when it is freezing
