cant wait to get back to icmeler, have been coming for the last 8 years, sometimes 3 times a year. the people are always welcoming and it really does feel more like home than england! Only three weeks till we come back and this time we are getting married there, nothing big, few friends and family. but could not think of a better place to get married. not looking forward to trip to izmir though! does any one know how long this takes?

congratulations izmir is about a 4 hour drive from icmeler, guessing will take longer on the bus if thats how you're planning on getting there? may be easier to hire a car and make your own way there.

Congratulations. Would love to know how you get on as my son is thinking of getting married in Icmeler also.

we are getting a transfer with John @ icmeler on line to go to izmir, and are doing the rest ourselves with friends that we have met out there over the years. we are flying out on friday the 13th of august( what a day to fly!!) so will keep you posted as to how it all goes,so far has not been as hard as i thought it would be! time will tell once we are there?cant wait to get back now. thanks for the congrats.

Marie, this is something we are looking to do next year in turkey so I'm looking forward to news of your wedding.
