What is the Better Hotel

Postby chris kelley » 21 Jul 2010 21:43

Hi All

My wife and I are visiting Icmeler for the first time the beginning of september.
After looking at all the all inclusive deals we figure either the marti resort or the aqua hotel look about the best?
Are these good Hotels and which would you go to?
And whats the weather like at the beginning of september?

Hope to get lots of replys as im going to book soon.

Chris and Hayley

hi, they are both very nice hotels the marti resort i have stayed in and is very good and well worth taking the all inclusive option at £20 a day as its about £3 -£4 a beer in the hotel itself, friends have stayed in aqua a few times and rave about it for me the grounds at the marti are stunning and the rooms are on split floors and are huge with a bed at one end and sofa/fridge/ tv at the other end on different levels. With both hotels i cant see you being disappointed but the one thing to remember is even though there are 4/5 stars it is Turkey so probs knock a star off compared to quality of european hotels.

hope this helps

Hi Chris and Hayley glad to see you have decided to visit our favourite place, cannot comment on your choice of hotels as we never stay all-inclusive as eating and drinking at the different restaurants in Icmeler is a big part of our holiday. We always go 1st 2 weeks in sept (30th aug this year), the weather is always lovely, hot sunny days (30deg) and warm nights. Whichever hotel you choose you will have a great hol everything about Icmeler is great, the people, food, beach, stunning views in fact everything, we cannot wait to get back there, you will have a great time and do not be surprised if you fall in love with the place as everyone else that goes does :D :D If you need any more help just ask someone will have the answer good luck and enjoy your hols :D :D Jan and Jeff

Hi Chris and Hayley.

We stayed at the marti resort (not on an all inc basis) but my stay there was fantastic and can only mirror the above comment.
We have also stayed in the Marti la perla all inc and found that to be yet again fantastic, allthough everyone is different and has different opinions regarding hotels i dont think you will be dissapointed with either.

Two stays at the munamar were also very very good but just pipped by the other two, oh and munamar is closed this year by all accounts.
Cant offer anything on the Aqua but heard lots of good things about it.

Hope this helps 8)

the marti la perla is a 4* all inclusive hotel. the marti resort is a 5* hotel which offers hald board and all inclusive - so 2 different hotels.

there is only one aqua hotel, so whatever name it's called by, it's the same hotel.

hope that helps :D

Whichever the one you like the best I hope that you have already booked it because all there is available is the Marti La Perla as the other are fully booked up but there are other hotels available for your dates, alas not 5 star but still some good ones to be had
