Totally agree with you scottishguy. They hassled us last year so we never went in and they did the same again this year except this time they shouted all sorts as we were walking away. Definately wont be going in anytime soon!!

Have to agree with you both - to be honest, it's never really been the sort of place which appealed to us, but daughter and I gave in and went in for a drink last October. Had the one drink and left - never again!

Cant understand the bad reviews of this bar My wife and myself were there for ten days in June, went in there most nights and recieved excellent service and some great entertainment with drinks at good prices. Ya Ya and his team do a good job and make thier regular customers extemely welcome.

Burnley, maybe you received such good hospitality because you gave them your custom? Alls i know is that they were very rude to me and my friends when we wouldnt go in. They swore at us everytime we walked past after we said that we were going to the beach and did not want a drink hence why we will not be going in. A holiday is to relax and do as you want, when you want and not to receive such abuse when simply walking down the street.

I don't know about that, miss kimmie, as I say, daughter and I got fed up getting pestered every time we passed the place that eventually one night we gave in and decided to go in for a drink. As I say, never again - the service was dire and even our cocktails weren't a patch on the ones we've had in numerous other bars. When we asked for the bill, it was practically thrown at us. Needless to say, it's one place we definitely won't be frequenting again...

We have been walking past this bar for the last 5yrs as we went in one night and ordered barcardi & coke.order came and no barcardi so we complained and watched the bar man spit in our new drinks so when they were fetched to the table we asked for the owner and made a complaint never been in there since .we stay on the canal so walk past regularly.

There was an earlier post re this bar. It will always be just one of them places. I cannot understand why or how anybody can be taken in by these rude individuals. Not a year goes by without them being rude/abusive to somebody whether it be me or somebody else. As i have said before each to their own - apologies to anybody that likes this bar but i am merely reporting my own personal opinion and i hope i have not offended anybody that likes private/dreamboys. Oh and by the way 46 sleeps til im back. Happy hols everybody!!
