ONUR AIR

Postby carol0912 » 17 Jul 2010 09:20

Can I book flights with onur air direct. Lost flights re goldtrail collapse and dont want to lose holiday. It was booked for my daughter and her partner. Flights were for 19 September for 1 week and only cost £206 each. Dont want to pay through the nose. Anybody got any ideas. They would be very much appreciated. I will claim flight money through my credit card. Does anyone know how long this can take. Carol

Thanks to people who replied. Tried Liverpool ICR, couldnt get flights from Glasgow but suggested T***** C***. Crazy prices!!!!!!!! Managed to get 2 flights with Travel R******* for £232.12 each. Times have changed by around 2hrs but nothing major. flights with Kiss. Anyone had any dealings with them? Would appreciate any info. Thanks, Carol

hi all if onur air is still trading surely they must have been paid by goldtrail for all the seats that have been booked so why cant onur air honour these flights or am i being really naive or is that just to easy

kerry&sue I don't understand that either. Aegean where still selling flights on my Onur Air flight 2 weeks ago, does that mean the plane will be leaving half empty.

Onur and Aegean has nothing to do with goldtrail and merely flew some of their customers.

hi all most of us knew thataegean and onur air were merely carriers for goldtrail etc but the point i was making was that onur air must have been paid for all these passengers that were going with goldtrail so as a previous post said will these flights be leaving half empty or will aegean double there takings by selling the seats twice surely that cannot be right so does anyone think that theres even a small chance that for all these unfortunate innocent passengers should contact onur air because they must have all the names of paid up travellers

I lost my flights. Onur air were carriers booked with goldtrail through otbeach. Otbeach emailed us immediately and told us this. We have already booked new flights and changed times with resorthoppa. Not too much hassle, just out £465.00. Just. It was either this or lose holiday. Will claim money from credit card on Monday. Was told this should take approx. 10 days.

thanks for clarifying that John, my blood went cold when I saw about Goldtrail - good luck to those who ARE affected by the collapse, crossing everything that those folk manage to salvage something from the mess, including staff and hoteliers
