Quick Questions

Postby sanjo » 12 Jul 2010 20:49

Hi, just got a couple of quick questions for someone to answer.

1. What are the temperatures like in September and is it still warm in the evenings?

2. Staying at the Bonjour this year and was wondering if they supply an iron to use or should I take my own?

3. We are going in the middle of September and I have just noticed my passport expires in April 2011, is this going
to be ok as I've heard somewhere you have to have so many months left on your passport or they wont accept it?

4. Has anyone booked for next year yet? lol

September - Warm like June but some colder evenings now and again and poss rain but infrequent. Unsure re your iron at Bonjour - soz!! You need six months left on your passport and finally yes we have booked for 2011 Sept 8th 14 days the wife and me at Pinewood for less than £650 for the 2 of us.

we went on 12th October last year and it was still hot but unfortunately we got loads of rain! The day we arrived it was about 30ish, but the week before it had been dry and hot. Just bad luck.

We are planning to go mid to late September for a sneaky week without the kids, and I hope I'm right in thinking it will still be about 30 degrees. And not raining !
It was a bit chilly in the evenings though in early October - maybe take a cardy in September.

We always go early September. i never take cardigan as its always warm enough for me at night.
When we are due to fly home it usually starts to get a bit cooler at night (usually about the 17th/18th when we leave) I think you would need a cardi then.
Last year, for the first time in 14 years we had rain in the evening and it was torrential, we were marooned in Havana bar for hours, but it was great fun. we had to paddle back to the hotel and I'm not joking!!
I've never took an umbrella before but I think I might do this year, as I couldn't see an umbrella for sale anywhere in Icmeler, but I saw some in Marmaris when we were due to fly home.

If you send off your Passport now you will have it returned in ample time for your September holiday. The new extension will be added to the expire date off next April in other words start from April 2011 - April 2021

Hubby had to renew his passport this year, and he received it back in just over a week. If I were you though, I would get it in soon, as this is the busy time at the passport office :)

I stayed in the Bonjour in May in the apartments, we had an ironing board in the room but no Iron, I just asked at reception and they supplied me with one.

Hi
We always go Mid September, odd rain spells, but other than that up to 35C, never felt cold at all, unless someone leaves the aircon on....
