There are two waterparks in Marmaris, the Atlantis on the sea front and the Aqua Dream on the hill behind Migros. I prefer the Atlantis but it is older than the other.

The large water park on the hill is a fantastic day out but be aware it is very expensive. It's not enough that they charge you a small fortune to get in but when we went a couple of years ago they were stopping everybody and making them empty their bags of drinks and food even stuff they had for their children. I could feel myself getting annoyed as we got nearer to the front. Anyway my husband and our young son both have very olive type skin and when we go to Turkey they are convinced he is Turkish (he isn't though). So when we got to the front the staff obviously thought he was Turkish, muttered something to him, my husband nodded pretending he knew what they had said and let him through !!!!! So of course I carried on following them with my daughter (who does not have olive skin and neither do I) and they stopped us, I tried to explain that I was with my husband but he made me hand over the half bottle of water I had drank. This sparked off some furious customers behind me saying they were rob dogs etc. I just smiled and said here you are, I knew my husband had got in. Anyway we had in his rucksack two large bottles of Fanta, crisps and fruit so we only had to buy a burger for the kids at dinner so saved us a small fortune. You could try and get in with food and drink may depend on the time of year if you can get in.

Went to the one on the hill - "Aquadream" and didn't think it was too expensive, probably one of the cheapest trips we did as you can stay there all day if you wish. Weve been there twice now and its great fun, specially the wave pool which unfortunately was broke the last time we went.

They do take food/drinks off you on entry but the restaurant/cafe wasn't that expensive, we all had our meals there and the food was OK too!

Cheers John

We also used Aqua Dream on the hill, 13 lira for beef/chicken burger/fries and soft drink. Not too bad a price at all.

You put money onto your card on entry, and any money not used to you is refunded on your way out. No cash accepted inside the park.

Great day out.

hi, i have to agree with the above 2 posts that is not really that expenseive at all. Its a great day out and fantastic for the kids big and small!! my little man is 4 yrs old and he goes on everthing from wave pool, kids water play area to the kamakazi, he loves it!! A little tip from past experience if you try to take in big 2lt bottles of water the will take them off you the key is to take 2-3 small 500ml bottles per person and they do not take them off you!! its is a proven method as we do this every year and often visit aqua dream 2 times per holiday visit!!

have a great time on 9 weeks and we're back in icmeler!!!!!

We went to the atlantis one thats on the beach. Great day out. What I liked about there was even though it wasn't that small, everything was close together, and you wern't trolling around for ages from one slide to the next. We didnt have to que for any of them, the staff are really keen to keep the flow of people going.
The food was good, we had a pizza to share with salad, it was nice and not too expensive atall.
The only thing I would say negative about it is that the wave pool only goes once an hour, which I think is a bit of a drag. We were in falaraki waterpark last year, and that went every half hour, so maybe we were spoilt.

Oh, at atlantis, we also had a free shuttle service back to icmeler, it left at 3pm, then 4.30pm, I think, or there abouts.

And yes, if you buy a main meal in the restaurant on the beach, they will give you free next day entrance to the park.

We went to Atlantis last year, and this year in June. If you buy tickets online it's a lot cheaper, and you get a free shuttle (stops about 15 times to pick people up but hey, it's free!) We got in both times laden with our own food and drinks :D , you can also go out and come come back in if you want to. I thought it was quite small and not many slides compared to other waterparks I've been to, but it's quite nice. 10am till about 3pm was ample time to go on everything 10 times!

http://www.marmarisinfo.com/waterpark/price_list.php

it works out if you pay here £9 for adults and £5 for children 6-12 children upto the age of 6 go free.

Hope this helps
