street view

Postby jayjay1950 » 03 Jul 2010 12:49

I was just wondering admin if Icmeler was going to get google street view, it would be great to be a virtual tourist down all the streets and make it a lot easier to find places.

I think it will happen one day but google appear to be concentrating on the big cities first.

Also when they do do it lets hope its in the summer and not the winter when all the restaurants are boarded up.

Sorry, couldn't resist commenting as it's something Google-related. Does this link answer your question re: the feasibility of covering the canal area:

:D

Seriously, though, I don't know what the plans are for increasing Street View coverage, but if I notice that we announce anything relevant then I'll be sure to post a link to it here.

Cheers,
Paul.

I keep looking on the map to try find my way about but cant quite picture it in my head, maybe i should go more often and stay for longer
