Well due to fly out Monday morning from Manchester woke up yesterday morning with a really swollen throat and my voice kept going throughout the day at work yesterday so off i went to the NHS Walk in centre and waited to see someone for 40 minutes. I've only got viral tonsilitus AND an ear infection!!!

Luckily the penicilin seems to be working quickly and I hope I'll be better for when I fly out, its all I need just before I go on holiday!!

Awww sorry to hear that Eatock08, hope you get better soon. I am sure you will be fine for your flight on Monday, fingers crossed for you.

Hope you will feel better soon Alison. I noticed on the August holiday list that you are flying out and returning the same days as me. (30th July to the 20th August) Are you flying from Manchester? We might be on the same plane. What time do you fly?

Thanks Guys!!! I'm feeling loads better now so should be infection free on Monday

I think me being on the August list is a mistake as I'm not going on the 30th July just From Monday until the 19th July unless Gene knows something I don't ha ha

*big hug* know how you feel we have 4 weeks to go, and we just got aletter home yesterday off the school (on the last day of term) to tell all theparents.. that 5 kids at the school have measles... and my lil one hasnt had that before.. so were waiting to see if it springs out on him

Nothing worse than having to travel when you are not feeling 100% so lets hope that by the time it is time to leave there is a vast improvement.

Hi everyone

Today feeling a lot better, ear ache has more or less gone, my throat is still swollen and my voice still comes and goes fingers crossed I'll be back to my normal self by 5am tomorrow!!
