be very carefull what you order, we orderd 5 bottles of beer,music was good place was buzzin,got the bill

If you ordered bottles you must have got Miller or Becks etc.

I have never found it massively expensive? We go every year and drink pints of Carlsberg and last year it was 5 lira a pint...

please dont give it a miss because its a fantastic bar with lovely staff too and the music is soooo good! I cannot believe the prices bitsy put on were correct as its our favourite bar and we always go every year-has anybody been recently that can verify? I would hate to think the forum is putting people off...

Are you a regular to this bar doz ,i must admit i was shocked that they could sell lager/beer at 11 lira a go as said by geordie 5 lira is okay but 11 lira does seem steep i know my OH mentioned visiting this bar so perhaps we will give it a go and check it out

thanks for that Mark. I thought that seemed ridiculously high to be charging and there is no way I would ever pay that much for a pint! They dont sell Efes as Admin has previously said and 4.75 is about the same as most bars. Please visit this bar, its a really good night!

BTW if you do order Miller or Becks and pay around 11 lira then I understand why because it is imported and will cost much more.

yeah doz, reckon it would just the same as ordering other imported drinks i.e. smirnoff. i would expect to pay along the same price for that. stick to the local stuff in my opinion!

Linekers have a contract with the carlsberg company so they send them barrels of the stuff which they buy in bulk at a cheaper price!

If you found carlsberg in any other bar it would be much more than 4.75tl

The original post for this topic was to state that 5 bottles of beer cost a total of 56TL which sounds like either over charging or a mistake in the bill,one that would not of liked to pay, draught Carlsberg does not get quoted at all.
