changing money on a sunday

we will be arriving late saturday just getting a little bit of lira over here, will i be able to change my sterlin for lira on a sunday are their places open if not will have to get a bit more lira over here.

Places are open everyday over there so you will have no problems changing money; any day any time

Even the little minimarkets, which are open until the wee small hours, change money, so you won't have a problem.
