Getting my bearings????

Postby tipsy » 09 Jun 2010 12:50

Hi guys, well, only just over 2wks to go now till we visit icmeler for the first time, and, thanks to everyone here, Im really quite prepared. Though it does feel like I booked it about 2yrs ago! (I didnt, just feels that long waiting).
Anyway, my question is, when looking at the live webcam feed, which direction am I looking at, and what's behind, to the left, and to the right of the view. How far a stroll from the webcam is the old village.? We are staying very close to the Deja vu restaurant. I know it sounds daft, but we're just trying to get our bearings.
Ive head of all these wonderful places to go, but till you're there and actually see it, its hard to picture. :?

thanks a million :D

The road in front of the webcam leads to the top of the canal area which is just past the loveboat restaurant.

To the right is the road down to the beach, Harrys Steak House, Coco Beach etc

To the left is the road to the old village plus another main road with lots of restaurants, Tansas etc

Behind is the Scotia bar and a road that takes you to quite a few others

Below is the Tandori Sizzler

Hi , we stayed close to De ja vu a few years back, And a normal stroll would take 15min But a stop and chat stroll take anything up to an hour  Or a short cut walk which we found took 12 min into the center only 16 more sleeps and i will be there :D :D
