Worried - Hotel Kapmar

Postby sharon1968 » 07 Jun 2010 23:07

Hi

I'm new on here so forgive me if I've posted this in the wrong place.
We are due to come out in September and have booked to stay at the Kapmar for two weeks. I have been looking through reviews and have to say they are mostly good however one poster (not on here) said that he was made to pay £180 for his air conditioning and safety deposit box.
This seems a bit excessive to me does anyone know if this is right please?

Thanks

Sharon

Hi sharon,

Im staying in the Kapmar in 18hours, and I have been told it is £4 per night for air conditioning. Hope that helps... I will try and let you know when I get there :-)

We go back to the Kapmar on Fri if you have a look on Kapmar Face book page it says that the air/con is 4 Euro's per day. Hope this helps.

I've stayed in various hotels and aparts over the years in Icmeler and never paid any more than £10 per week for a safe box and I'd say £4 a day for air conditioning is about the average.

I'm saying there in September too and only expecting to pay about £76 for the fortnight for all of it.

The cost at the Kampar for the air conditioning is the standard price you would pay in similar places for this extra about £30 per week well worth it during the hot period.

Lynn M I think you are right and this guy got his YTL and GBP mixed up.
Flying out on 10th Septemeber and I know it can still be quite hot at nights so I will be using it I'm sure.

Thanks to all for your responses.

Hi Sharon, most places let you book air con by the day so if you want to save yourself a few £££s or TL that could be the way to go. Just got back from Dalyan and the air con there was £4 a day but the evenings were coolish so we only got it for one day - so that we weren't dripping with sweat while we packed hahaha
