water park for free

Postby theboxer » 07 Jun 2010 19:06

i booked a trip to the waterpark on the beach in marmaris for 70 lira 2 adults 2 children , when i got there there was a sign saying eat any main course meal in our resturant get in the water park for free the next day, this is a small sign very hard to see but i promise this is the case so if your self catering you could save yourself a small fortune

I saw the sign last year when we left the Atlantis waterpark. Just might pop to Marmaris for an evening meal the night before we decide to go to the waterpark.

Thanks for reminding me.

We are going to take our Grandson there when we go next week. Do we just go into the waterpark and eat in the restaurant to get free admission the next day to the slides?

There is a beach front restaurant attached to the waterpark at the entrance, you don't actually go into the water park to eat here.

Thanks Dave, we will probably do that then.

How far into Marmaris is the water park?

It's about half way along the front to the Ataturk statue, we normally get the water taxi and ask to get off on the landing stage near the waterpark which is about 100-150 metres walk away, you can't miss it as you will see the slides.

When leaving turn right our of the water park and first right, at the top of the road there is a taxi rank or you can catch a dolmus on the main road.

Have a look at the google maps link below, this will give you a better idea of the location. I have marked it with an 'A'

If 4 adults eat in the restaurant we would then all get in the next day free, also what is the quietest day of the week to go

The quietest day is Friday or Monday the main change over days however it will still be busy.

If the weather is not forecast to be too good go that day, you are getting wet anyway and the queues will be less.

We normally go at 1pm, by 2.30pm people are starting to leave who have been there all morning, by 4pm there are zero queues for any of the slides.

Has anybody eaten in the restaurant to get the free entry to waterpark? Just wondered what the food & prices were like,is it worth eating there to get free entry to waterpark?

I've only eaten lunch there and prices seemed to be the same as everywhere else.
