Yes and no
Last year there were two sets of notes, those with Yeni (New) on them, these expired the end of December, and those without the word Yeni, these are now the legal tender.

the new ones are smaller and look more like euro notes

I still have some of the old style notes, do you think I will still be able to get them changed at one of the banks? I have over 100 YTL so I hope so!

Looks like i have a few useless notes then. A few less effes than anticipated. Thanks tami for that anyway
