Has anyone any good trips or places for us to visit when we arrive in Icmeler in August. Is there any waterparks or is the beach the best bet and also whats the price for a family of 4 for travelling around the area ie buses, taxis etc....Dave

there are 2 waterparks in marmaris which is only a 10 min dolmus ride away
the dolmus costs 2TL per person from icmeler to marmaris and around icmeler ie to the old village its 1TL per person
taxis are ok but some of the driving is very fast and either agree on a price before you get in the taxi or make sure they have their meter running

As far as trips are concerned, get yourself into the ICR offices and the lovely staff there will sort you out! Plenty of excursions to choose from, so tell them the sort of thing you like doing, and they'll recommend the best ones for you.

There are a couple of waterparks in Marmaris, we are going to take our Grandson to Atlantis Waterpark, it looks like a really good day out.

Jeep Safari is a fun day out and very entertaining, but make sure you wear something old as you do get dirty.

All inclusive boat trip is another fantastic trip, you are out for most of the day and dinner is provided with unlimited drinks.

hi if this is your first trip to icmeler we would recommend the turtle beach/mud baths trip you swap boats at turtle beach and travel up the dalyan river past the kings tombs and on to the mud baths and even if you dont fancy going in the mud its great fun just watching although its a bit smelly ,you then return to turtle beach and the beautiful clear waters ,hope you have a really great holiday as i know you will.
