Icmeler Online Holiday Forum & Reviews - Turkey

hey hope some one can help me due to fly out tonight from manchester airport with my friend and her husband and its possible they might not b able to go due to illness so i'll be stuck on my own. we're not staying at the hotel we usually stay in so i wont really know any one cant say which hotel it is as this company dont do it so dont know what to do cos cant afford to loose all the money i paid. help

If you have to go on your own, I wouldn't worry about it too much. There are quite a few people on this forum who go to Icmeler alone and they usually have a great time and soon make new friends. I am sure someone who travels alone will soon be along to put your mind at ease.

mandi, you are allowed to say where you staying, regardless if it is hotel/apartment that ICR provide - they just don't allow advertising. I'm sure if you told us, it would be easier for someone to put your mind at rest - i.e. they may know staff or people staying there.

I would def still go on my own though - nothing would stop me from going to Icmeler, although I know it must be daunting for you. I have always found people friendly and I have seen many people on their own.

hi tamii im staying at the oylum park hotel its freaking me out cos ive read some of the reviews and they arent very good at least being there with my friends i wouldnt be so bad.

mandi do not be scared its the safest place to be we go out tommorow we are just down the road we are in chateau de ville so pop along we will be propping the bar up everyone is freindly i would go by myself my brother is their by himself and met lots of people i will have to drag him away

exactly as lynnjenny says......get out and about, meet some people and if you don't like your hotel look at it this way, its only somewhere to sleep and get changed. apartment owners are really good at letting non-residents use their facilities so if you pop in somewhere for say breakfast or lunch, get talking to them about your situation. I'm sure they will welcome you to use their pool and the beach is really close as well. on the flip-side you might be worrying about your hotel unnecessarily - remember reviews are all subjective to an individuals experience.

it's the only place i would ever think about going alone, so try not to worry too much and enjoy

you only have to be their a few minutes and you chatting away to people belive us you are going to love it photos of the hotel look nice i never belive the reviews try not to worry

I came back to the office today to find Michelle booking a flight back to the UK for this lady as she was upset and wanted to go home as she didnt know anyone here in the resort.

I told Michelle to cancel the flight and take her to Zaza's and if she was not comfortable to come back and we would then get her a flight back to Manchester in the morning.

It seems she has now found her new home for the next 14 nights at Zaza's and has already had a cup of coffee dropped in her lap
