Do all b&b's have no fridge?

Postby cassia » 02 Jun 2010 00:07

Ok so me and my sister were all set to book the villamar but i have just been told that because its B&B they have no Fridge. So i emailed the owner and he confirmed this is true..

Are all apartments and hotels that are b&b's in icmeler not fitted with fridges? because i normally go SC but this year we fancied a change of not paying for breakfasts everyday but if it means having nowhere to put water (or my beloved cherry juice) then i think i will be definitely finding somewhere SC just for the fact of having a fridge

Thanks

Cass

A few of the b&b's we have stayed in did not have a fridge in the room but if you ask them they can sometimes supply them at a small fee, I like to keep my make up in so it does not melt and the hubby likes it to keep the beer cold typical

Most b&b's don't have fridges because they do not allow you to take any food or drink from outside into your room, therefore you don't need a fridge.

This is the reason we always stay in an apartment, even if there is only 2 of us because i like to keep my facewipes and aftersun in the fridge aswel as water!

K this is our plan as most people have said b and b want you to buy everything at the bar so they dont supply fridge, hence bottle of water at bar 3 lire bottle of water at shop 1 lire so we have gone self catering this year again , only problem is a memeber of our party loves toast, and as of the previos years most bars and eatouts charge between 3 and 5 lire a slice  so this year we are taking a risk and taking our own toaster - hope the elements dont break with all the bagage knockabouts on route think thats why they dont make travel toasters, hey dont laff they have travel averything else thingys ie kettles hairdryers irons ect , only problem when we get there is were do we buy warburtons thick toasty bread from ?

I think quite alot of Turkish people stay there, a Turkish friend of ours used to stay there alot while he was working in Icmeler, and his cousins had rooms there also
