Can anybody help,received an email today,have booked my stay at the Efes inn hotel on 24.6.2010 for 16 nights ,but it has been canceled because tc have soul rights to this hotel,does anybody no why .we have been offered Melita instead has anybody got some feed back not happy.

ICR are still offering the Efes Inn Hotel on their website so i dont know what that means

We have stayed at the Melita in 2005 I think, we enjoyed it,basic but clean.

As Katie says ICR have it on their books.

i/ve stayed at Melita it was our first visit to icmeler was about 6 or 7 years ago.

Its been closed down for a year so Kenan (ex Vinces) said who used to work there and it went AI for a Swedish company before that hence why not so many recent reviews.

it had 2 balconies, the front one was the better one, and there was one at the back through the bedroom you wouldnt sit on but handy for drying clothes as you had a view of the hotel at the back air con units.

We had the furthest block back from the road so didnt have much of a view and you could see into the hotel opposites rooms if they didnt shut the curtains.

the first 2 blocks had the better views of the pool, main rd and possibly the sea.

pool was nice, kids pool everyone ran round in and made a whirlpool that was really funny kids loved it.
staff at the time were nice. was very close to the Munamar end of the beach so a definite plus there.

But dont know if they've redecorated or anything as the pictures look the same from memory.

Sorry Bill but you had better get back on to the company you booked the holiday with as we have sole rights to Melita.

Unless your holiday provider books the rooms from us or from Tui Scaninavia which I don't think they would then you will not be going to Melita

Bill I popped down to th Melita and I did double check for you and I was right that they are not contracted to any other UK agency but you will probably be ok as Tui Scandinavia are probably selling to Tui UK who are then selling onto other agencies.

Sorry if I worried you but I wouldn't like you to lose out

If they are offering you another hotel say no and ask for full refund if they agree just book it via ICR that way you know you will get what you want but make sure you are getting full refund first normally they do say if you are not happy with second choice hotel that is offered they do offer refund hope you get it sorted x

did someone say kenan is no longer working at vinces if so what a shame ,a nicer man you couldnt wish to meet,Jean is devastated lol

Bill, same thing happened to us, see if John (admin) can get you in the Chateau de Ville, you wont be disappointed if he can mate.

So, same thing has now happened to two people who have booked the Efes Inn, can the agent you booked with be named in order that other peoples holidays are not ruined.
We have family who are booked into the Efes Inn for July/Aug & not booked with T.C.

From what I can see it is all agencies apart from TC that have had their contracts cancelled

Thanks for your replies All,we have been moved to the Melita apts,and given a free turkish bath,my wife not to happy,i am sure we will be ok there,still not received conformation email yet will let you all know when i do.
