hi all was wondering if anyone has any information on the staff at champagne bar this year we used to have most of our meals there for several years that was when kevin alex tony macaronie were all there however we didnt go much last year as tony had moved down the road to a new cafe come wine bar type of place and one of kevins waiters upset us by his arrogance towards some guests who were crying because they were going home, he said to us that new people will arrive soon and that he had already forgot them when i said that that wasnt very nice and that the kids really liked him he said this is my country if you dont like it dont come,now we are not that naieve to think that all of the people genuinly like us and its not all about what we spend however most are at least nice to your face,we should of told kevin why we werent eating there anymore but didnt want to cause any trouble,so just wondered if anyone knows who is working there this year.

We usually stay at the Siesta Aparts,there was one waiter last year at the Champagne Bar we just couldn't take to maybe same one.Alex is now working at Cupids(the last I heard).

This is really bad, you should of menitoned it to Kevin. We have known him years & he is so friendly and runs his business to a high standard. I think he would have been very angry to here that one of his waiters spoke to you like that.

We always go in Champage for cocktails (almost every day walking back from the beach) and to chat to Kevin. We try to have at least one meal there but I don't think it's as good as it used to be - I think thats due to the staff not being as good and although the food is still lovely, I think it wasn't as good last year as it was in previous years. It will definately be strange Alex not being there too!

thanks sophia i realise that we should probably of mentioned it to kevin as you quiet rightly say kevin is very friendly and runs his buisness very professionally but being on holiday you dont really want any trouble just a really great time which we did as usual but we did feel very guilty eating elsewhere every night,we are returning on the 6th of september and we will definately pop in and see kevin and hopefully that member of staff wont be there and we will explain to kevin that it wasnt anything to do with him or the others

We have always enjoyed our meals at the Champagne Bar especially the Shepherds pie,never had a bad meal there.

i have been told that mehmet who used to run oscars bar across the road from the champagne
bar is now the new manager. My friends and i are going out next week and staiying in the Siesta
apartments so will find out more

does any one know where the rest of the guys who worked at oscars fun pub are this year.

I think ahmet is back in icmeler but not sure about martin. It would be great to catch up with them
