What is the typical cost of eating out and effes ,any trips to be reccommended ,staying at the KLEOPATRA any faults with these appartments

We went for first time last year and had a fabulous time. We stayed at Kleopatra Apartments and were made very welcome. This helped in our decision to return in July. Eating out was great - tried a different restaurant every night. The apartments were doing a set meal last year @ 16TL. All the staff are very helpful and can't do enough for you. Roll on 12 th July, the first Efe's and haggling in the market.

just got back , stayed next door to kleopatra at tokmak aparts . they look good. about 10 to 15 mins to beach . try harry rams for cod chips peas . 12lira. 5minutes from you. meals vary depending on restaurant . steak dinner dearer this year about 22l to 30l efes beer 4 to 5 lira . exchange rate 2.225 . have a good un

Private transfer is aprox 1 hour and 20 minutes.

If you are going on a tour operator bus, they usually have a comfort stop for about 20 minutes. The journey would then be about 2 hours minimum, but it depends whether you are last off or first off the bus - we were last off one holiday and it took about 4 hours.

Always private transfer for us now, money well spent in my opinion.

the money for the private transfer is well worth it
cause when you get off the plane you just want to get to your hotel or apartments
it all adds up to more time in icmeler as the private trasnfers dont pick you up as early when your going back to the airport either

A couple of examples from my side.

2003 we went with a big tour operator, we came out of the airport told our reps we didn't need their transfer services as we had booked privately with ICR, we arrived at apartments around 4.30am, the following day we found people on our flight who arrived at 07:00am

In 2007 we went DIY and had to use a private transfer, coming home a family left our hotel 2 hours before us for the journey to the airport (Different flight than our but only by 15 minutes), they were with a TC coach transfer and they were the first pickup, we beat them to the airport by 20 minutes with a private transfer.

Private transfers are definately the way to go, no hanging around for people at the airport and no drop offs or pickups.

Just got back from 2 weeks at the Kleopatra. Lovely apartments. Very clean. Fresh towels arranged differently every time. (In fact, best and least intrusive cleaners we have had to deal with anywhere we've ever stayed.) Well-equipped kitchen. Friendly. Quiet area. Lots of different ways to get to the beach to avoid all the bars/restaurants trying to drag you in.

We would definitely go back there. Hope you enjoy it.
