Icmeler Online Holiday Forum & Reviews - Turkey

Hi everyone, hope you can help going to Icmeler in July and we are wanting to try Effes just to sample what its like, we know it wont taste as good as what it would on hol. it never does, but just to get us in the mood but can we find anywhere that stocks it no! tried ASDA, Sainsburys and our local off license but no one as any. we are in the Blackburn area can anyone send me in the right direction x

I've herd Morrisons sell it.

Theres one in Railway Road.

bought some in morrisons on sat but for me did not taste the same

if you have a local Weatherspoons, -- they sell it!!

You can also buy cases of Efes in Makro, if you or anyone you know has a card.

I got some in Tesco last year

It's on offer at the minute at makro. got a case of 24 bottles for £15 something instead of £18 something. Morrisons only sell it in single bottles, think they £1 each!

Don't know if Morrisons prices are set locally or nationally, but the bad news is....

Morrisons in Reading have Efes at £1.43 for a 500ml bottle.

It hasn't been a quid for a while.

If you prefer drinking in a pub all Wetherspoons stock it, about 2 quid a bottle.

we tried the efes in england when we got back from our first trip to icmeler 8 years ago. tried it several times since. even in the airport just before we flew out once. Its not the same. First you need the holiday atmosphere then you need ICMELER itself and the people. so my advice is wait untill you get there. Far better.

Thanks everyone mmmm think we will wait until we get to Icmeler, give us something to look forward to, and no doubt it will taste alot better sat by the sea in the sun, than under a grey gloomy sky. Been looking at the recent photo,s and can not wait roll on July
