Dont know how you manage Eric, i,m only 6,1" and my legs are rammed into the seat in front, but did notice that Tommy.C.s have a very slight extra leg space.Rog.

I find them one of the worst to be honest, however they do tend to have the best flight times...

i found flyglobespan to be a very good airline with extra leg space but unfortunately they are no more
so wont be using them again
i think TC are awful for leg room they cram so many people in

Believe me i'd like to know a good leg room short haul. We need Emirates or Cathay Pacific with those very very expensive first and business class seats.

The one and only flights i've ever had no knee squashing was a replacement first choice star class that was about 3 years ago, seat back TV with little games and leather seats, bliss. Think it mainly used for long haul carribean flights. Coming home it was back to normal knee squash seats.

Need knee protectors with Tommy C's we're with them this year.

Or someone buy an A380 for the Turkey route can fit 500 ish people on it can you imagine Dalaman coughing up for the improvements they'd need for that to land (no). We can dream

agree with Bev on First Choice planes - they're the best of a bad bunch but only ever had their aircraft as a replacement. i love it when you get the emergency exits seats out of pure chance! :D

TC's are the worst in my opinion.

They just seem like cattle trucks, rammed to the brink.

It's even worse when the selfish idiot in front decides to recline his/her chair.

As you can probably guess, i'm 6'3 so it really bothers me. And I begrudge paying extra for seats near the exit, which used to be free if you turned up early enough. Robbing gits.

The best to Turkey I think i've flown have been Pegasus, not much more room, but it's the extra inch or so that counts. :D

I agree, excellent flight times, so 3.5 hours of circulation being cut from legs is worth doing!

nope not worth it
especially when your coming from scotland and the time is over 5 hours on the plane
you can hardly walk when you get up and have to walk through dalaman airport to get to visa and passport control
its just shocking what they are allowed to get away with and charge for those seats

I'm Douglas Bader. Never had any legroom problems on any airline. Just screw them off.

BMI were pretty good when they hired their aircraft out for the UK to Dalaman route. They don't seem to do this now prob because of the takeover.
Got to agree TC are terrible for being squashed in. Usually (not always) this is made up somewhat by the great cheerful staff they have on though.

i'm just contemplating whether to book 2 extra leg room seats which greives me, but my feet and ankles swell so much and it looks like our flights changed to a night departure from an afternoon one so will be even more uncomfy.

But cant book one for daughter cos she's 14 so will have to do your seat your choice thing to make she sits behind us then we can keep swapping seats during the flight cos she's tall as well.
