Icmeler Online Holiday Forum & Reviews - Turkey

hi all first post so please be gentle, i have been visiting icmeler for the past ten years last year staying at the elif had a wonderful time as always but was wondering if anyone knows were mehmet and antonio are this year they ran the bar adjacent and worked previousley at captain bullshits i believe they told me that they would definately be somewhere in icmeler this year hope someone can help

Hi well ive just got back and one my friends is good friend of Mehmet, and we couldnt find him so not sure if hes in Icmeler yet or not? Elif Hotel and bar still in process of being built/refurbished - looks really nice so might have to try it once its finished !!

thanks for the reply i have seen the pictures of the new hotel and i agree it looks really nice,i hope mehmet is in icmeler this year as he and his staff made our holiday last year thanks again.

hi all can anyone help me please looking for two lovely guys called mehmet and antonnio i had a reply recently saying that they couldnt find mehmet this year in icmeler they both ran the bar area of the elif hotel and as this has been refurbished he told us he would be working elsewhere in icmeler mehmet has a wife who i believe was from wales he reminds everyone of the mearcat character of the compare the market.com advert lol! i really hope someone knows where he is as we would love to see him when we return in september.

Last year mehmet was at his uncles bar the sergi (used to be old famous) he was talking about opening his own bar this year will try texting him to find out for you

reckon you could be thinking of a different mehmet Steve?
- last year Mehmet [he of the welsh wife ] and also Antonio, both ex Bullshits restaurant mentioned at the start of this thread were working the Elif bar that runs along the side street from the beach

must be a lot of welsh wives in Icmeler
The one I know also goes by the name of martain and was the front man getting people in use to be at Friends bar opp diva hotel

I have recently found out that Antonio is working at a place called Cupid's Bar/Restaurant/Steak House, I believe this is is pretty central apparently quite near to l'etoile Hotel. Is that any help to you? I am sorry I am not sure where Mehmet is working but hope that helps somewhat. xxx

thanks femalearcher that really does help was beginning to wonder if they were both working away from icmeler this year as i know that mehmets brothers have bars in another resort in turkey , but really appreciate the news that antonnio is at cupids especially since this year we are staying at the miray hotel which i believe is very close to cupids and letoile ,thanks again

Oh no problem at all. It is a horrible feeling to think that they have all moved on elsewhere and although Icmeler is a pretty small resort, large enough when trying to find people plus you don't want to have to spend your holiday looking everywhere! It's nice to see the old faces again as they really do make your holiday. We are staying in Durson Apart this year so not sure where that is in relation to Cupid's but am sure we will find it.
