We stayed at the Dursun a couple of seasons ago. The apartments are in a great location - just a few minutes from the canal, etc, and they are very spacious - the rooms are huge. Unfortunately, there is only air conditioning in one of the bedrooms though, although there was a vent between the two bedrooms, so some of the cool air did get through to the other one. We had no complaints about them - they are a great size if there are a few of you staying.

I went to the Dursun 2 years ago. I personally thought it was nice, huge apartments...but VERY basic! And the old man who owns it is a grump & makes odd horsey sounds....

The air conditioning sounds a bit wierd might be worth taking a smallish electric fan for the person in the other room, it could be too stuffy in the room.

We stayed there last August. Aircon is only in one bedroom but some of the rooms have a large fan on the wall in the other bedroom. Ours however didnt. The location is great and rooms are huge. THey are basic but comfortable enough. The swimming pool was quite small. The owner is a miserable old so and so. For someone who is the tourist industry he really did not seem to like children much. Despite his daily rants we would still stay there again if nothing else for the size of the rooms and its location.

I think you can also hire fans from the Dursun - I'm sure someone was doing there while we were staying there. No idea of cost though.

Probably cheaper to go to Migros or Tansas and actually buy a fan rather than rent one and then do a good deed on leaving and drop it into our office where other people can then pick it up from and use

we love dursun aparts stayed there a few times papa is a typical old fashioned turk with old fashioned values you either love him or hate him but we love him to bits. have a great holiday close to everything with massive rooms. ps we didnt need aircon due to the floor being marble & concrete walls it was just the right temp especialy with 2 balconies blowing air right through the apartments

We have been going to the Dursun for the last 7 years & thoughout this time Ryan has been there except for a year when he done his army stint & last year.
He had a falling out with papa Dursun so worked at another apartment.
But this year he is back along with chef.
Now I will be totally honest about these apartments
We are 2 families with between 10 & 14 people
There is 13 2 bed apartments & 3 3 bed
The 2 bed apartments sleep 6 the 3 beds sleep 8
You can see a video of the apartments by going onto youtube an typing Dursun Apartments Icmeler in
We eat breakfast here every day & a few evening meals. We always stay here for Turkish Night the pool is small but you can walk 1 min to the selen 11 hotel & use there pool all you have to do is buy a drink.
The location is spot on for Canal, Beach, Tansas & the weekly Market
This is self catering but they have a restaurant & the chef is excellent every meal he cooks is amazing
You can book these apartments on Icmeleronline
They do only have 1 aircon unit but if you ask I'm sure you can get a fan for a few pounds a week which helps alot
