Season is open and guests are here. The new jewellery shop on site is open, the tattoo shop is nearly ready and the hairdressers and manicurist are in full swing. The hairdresser is trained by Toni and Guy in Istanbul and is seriously a GENIUS, he is particularly great at ladies hair.

There has been a new bar built over the winter and a kiddies play area.

But the main news is that Tolan apartments are now part of the Selen Apartments. The apartments back onto each other and with the removal of a wall it now means that Selen now boasts 2 swimming pools and that the guests staying in apartments no longer have to cross the road to use the hotel pool

The hotel and apartments are of course available to book through ICR

Just told the parents about the changes, they have booked 2weeks for the aparts for end of may (stayed here numerous times) they're lookin forward to it...shame about the tolan aparts going but good news for selen.

Good to know that the Tolan is being taken over, hope they are going to do some work on the apartments, we have stayed there for the past 5 years and found they were looking a bit worn so we stopped going there, good luck with your new project

My daughter will be disapointed Cath

I booked her into Selen aparts for this Friday for 10 nights as she likes the location and also the hotel pool but I am sure she will enjoy the new bar

She can stıll use the hotel pool!! Just gıvıng customers the choıce! The Apartments are stıll the orıgınal apartments as well so we can make sure she ıs ın one of those rooms ıf she prefers

Oh well I am sad to announce that the owner of Tolan aparts has gone back on his word so the aforementioned changes will no longer happen!

I didn't want to say about that Cath as we were approached by someone a week ago who wanted to run the bar but give us the apartments so maybe they took the owner up on his offer after all

The Tolan is owned by the man who owns the underground market, so who has the tolan now, needs alot of maintenance doing on it

i dont understand have the changes been made or not, i am staying in the selen appartments in sept for 2 weeks and would like to know about these changes, will also be over there 9th july but stayin in the private hotel so wil beable to come and see for myself before actually staying in them

All of the changes have been made apart from the expansion into the Tolan. Do come and see for yourself in July!

hi cath, all the posts concerning Selen and Tolan getting me confused,we have been going to Tolan twice a year for last 10 years and would like to know are they private or do we book with a firm. If not with ICR could you PM me, thanks in advanve.

As far as I know Tolan ıs stıll for rent and therefore not avaılable for bookıng

Im staying in the selen apartments for 2 weeks in july. I am so looking forwarad to it changes or no changes. We all ways have a good time in icmeler. Where ever we stay we have fun.

well we are glad to see that at last mr tolan has decided to put some money into the apartments.its just a pity he did,nt do it over the last two years as it would have made it a lot easier on us as we were the people who rented off him in 2008/2009.its also good to see past coustomers and so called friends getting excited about any improvements.pity it didnt show when they stayed with us.

We have just returned from Icmeler and whilst we were there we went to visit some friends who are now working in the Selen, i think the hotel is looking great and the atmosphere around the pool is fab, due to the great staff.
