Normally we are all booked up and counting down the weeks and then the days, but we knew last year would be our last time in Icmeler.I was very emotional on our last day there saying goodbyes to all the friends we have made over the years, what will we miss most "EVERYTHING" (especially my 48 packets of tomato soup that I bring back) but I have reviews and photo's to look forward to.We bought a caravan and have had some wonderful weekends and weeks away
and I'm really enjoying it,thought I would be envious of you all but no I'm not, we have had great holidays in Icmeler, just to wish all of you thats going to have a great time.

having only found icmeler last year, ( we were lucky to be able to go in july and october),we will also not be going this year :(

in september we found out that jo was expecting our first child, which is due 3 weeks today :D ,so therefore our summer holiday this year will be at my parents caravan in dorset, which will be great if we get the weather on our side.

we will miss everyone and everything in icmeler, especially the davamli hotel, loveboat and the sports inn, what a great bunch off lads there, also miss fonzi at the bonjour, lucky escape from alex though

we will also miss our after meal walks around the canal area and prom(,burning off one of my many steaks)

to all those that are going to icmeler this year, hope you all have a great time and have an effes or two for me

Our first visit to Icmeler was in 2005 and we have been fortunate enough to go back every year since then - but alas, this year is a no no. We have decided to have some work done to the house and I am hoping my new kitchen will compensate me for my missed holiday.

What I will miss most about Icmeler is all the friendly and familiar faces - people who have now become good friends and other holidaymakers who coincidentally go on holiday same time as you. That first inviting dip in the pool, the glorious sunshine and blue skies, the cheeky but friendly waiters - at Venice, Deja Vu, Champagne to name but a few. Going to the bakery at 6.00am and the 'friendly' staff at Tansas!

The Turkish Bath on our second day...bliss.

To all who are going this year - have a lovely time. Can't wait to see all your photos and read all your reviews.

We will definitely be in Icmeler again in 2011 - just waiting for flights to come out so I can book now and have something to look forward to.
