Would love to know if Nuri is back this year. We missed him so much last year.

Hi there from what we have heard in the pipeline it doesn't look as if Nuri will be there again this year, but as we all know things have a habit of changing very quickly in Turkey so who knows, we would also like to see him again. We always called him Swivle Hips as once he got going he wouldn't sit down.

I really missed Nuri and all the 'old' Efendi/Heaven Bar guys - it just was not the same last year without them all.

I believe they have all left Icmeler for good - working in home towns!

Same here - wasn't the same, in fact, we stayed at the Eda in Oct but were not happy (no comparison) so we are booked to go back the Efendi twice this year, the first time 3rd June and then again 1st Oct. We love that little hotel and think Mustafa round the pool is a scream. I know changes happen but when you have known the staff for so long and they are not there it never seems the same.

Hi one of the guys is in Manchester now Evren ozden married my niece he is here with me now and says hello to everbody who know him

Met up with Everen and his wife last September when we were visiting Kenan Baskir and his wife Jackie in Liverpool at their after wedding party. Kenen and Jackie now have a little boy, Joshua, who is about 2 months old. Kenan was the night watchman at the Efendi.
