There is a guy who stays in the appartments next to Masala restaurant (name escapes me) who comes down from Holland on a Honda Goldwing, spoke to him a few times - he sais it takes him 5 days easy riding so with minimal stops it would be roughly the same from Kent, hire a Harley and what a trip that would be.

Unless Branson has room on his big silver balloon thing....

Just had a look on google maps for a driving route its 2662 mile form Liverpool non stop driving would take 2 days so with a couple of stops overnight could do it in 3-4 days
would not like to work out what the cost would be for petrol/ferry and overnight accomodation would work out more than flying
but would be a great road trip :D

Hi Bill,
I like it, good old Captain Jimmie,a true friend, must admit I never thought of travelling that way.

We'll need a few DVD's for the trip as there will not be much sightseeing on the way over.......John

Our Daughter's inlaws, who have a place in Kas, drive down each April, it takes them 7 days, 6 nights. He loves it, she hates it but at least they have a car for the three months they are there.
