our first holiday abroad was icmeler ..... we fell in love with the place and this year will our 7th visit!
i think you will love it :)
never stayed in the hotel marti but its right on the beach and looks gorgeous!
Turkish bath is a definate must! (although try to do it on your first day)
a trip to dalyan to the mud baths is definatly an experience to remember aswell :P
Jeep safari was also a favourite and the lazy day boat trip! (last year we paid £12 all inclusive, which included alcoholic and soft drinks and lunch!)
there's lots more trips to do it just depends how far you want to go as some trips are an overnight stay somewhere else.
hope this has helped! x

You will love Icmeler as much as the rest of us do. The Marti is in a great location - right on the beach and close to the canal. As for trips, etc - take a look at the excursions section on the Icmeler Online site (link at top of page) - it will give you some great ideas. You can also pop into the ICR office in Icmeler and they will sort everything out for you. There are loads of great places to eat and drink - you will be spoiled for choice, and if you fancy a wee change of scenery, you can always catch the dolmus into Marmaris or Turunc and get the water taxi back - or vice versa! Have a great holiday! :D

We have been to Marti Resort many times since 1998. Very very nice. Hope you have selected a side sea view. Only discribed as side view as the building is slightly of center to the sea.
Pools and combined gardens are beutifull. Prices are steep but that is a personell view and not a critiscism.
Food is mixed very nice but do not expect egg bacon sausage and beans.
Gardens lead right on to beach via garden. Towels provide for beach or pool. Turkish baths are very good.
enjoy.
