I am told by my little Icmeler spy AKA John Admin that the Baron bar has now gone and is now a bag shop

For me I am glad, he was rude 2 years running to my parents

Mr Man on the door, himself is now working in Istanbull

He also tells me that the people who own LFC bar have made another bar next door called The Mancunian Bar

great news about that pain in the bum ,thing is the food in the Baron was good just put off by him Sharon was walking just behind us one evening and i think she wanted me to clout him lol

I thought Colette meant the Istanbul restaurant next to Dream 3 Bells etc??? If thats that case, then no, not far away enough!!

You could be right Tamii, John just said Istanbul, and I assumed he meant the place. Could be the restaurant.

As if the LFC bar didn't look tacky enough, we now have another football bar.............eugh!
Don't get me wrong, I'm all up for having sports bars and very much looking forward to the world cup (I'll be in Icmeler) but that bar just looks tacky and out of place in Icmeler!

COuld any of you tell me where Baron is please? Can't think of it...........

The Baron bar was on the opposite end of where the LFC bar is. On the main road end.

Also I've read today that Dreamboys is to be renamed 'Private Restaurant and Bar'

Harmony still have a lot of building to do but its going to be a complete rennovation we won't recognise the place!

Oh thanks Colette. Now I know the man you all mean! Yes he is very annoying............never been rude to me personally but very persistant and that can get quite annoying!

there are enough sport themed /brit bars now i dont think icmeler needs another world cup or not having said that according to the travel industry turkey is due to have a bumper season this year so you cant please everyone all the time.excuse my punctuation and grammar im abit of a novice at all this internet lark lol

well it's same owners and staff supopsedly so I would imagine yes. Seems to me like the council have had a hand in it - as if they have been allowed to open again as part of the Hotel Private?

My bet is that it will have changed in name only.......

the only way they could re-open was to be the bar for the private hotel. still Yahya and Adem running the place and some of same dreamboys staff...just a new name!

one other point after looking at the pics of the cocoa beach now becoming grass, what happens to the beach in front, will there be sunbeds on that part of the beach

I wondered the other day when I walked past the sıte of the Las Vegas bar (and saw that ıt was all set up as a bar but much more obvıously attached to the hotel) whether thıs would be a way to get around lıcences etc - It seems lıke dreamboys ıs doıng the same.

Funny you should say about that hassle man working in Istanbul, I went to Istanbul for christmas, and was walking past all the restaurants under the big bridge where all the boats are on christmas morning, and there was a fella hassling a couple and guess who it was? lol....He knows me quite well as I have been going to Icmeler for 11 years, so I put my hood up and my sunglasses on and scurried past! ha ha, so he is probably still working there!

Not quite on the vain of the topic, but i am really frustrated, I am trying to post a topic and cant see how to do this, can anyone help please
