we have just had word from the CAA that our claim has been settled after the custom flights collapse and our flights have been paid to Holdays 4 U.
We have been waiting for it to be settled for over 7 months.
I hope I can look forward to our holiday now.

Just had a letter this morning confirming that our refund would be in our bank within 14 days. Checked my bank on the offchance, and the money was paid in this morning. Not bad at all, since it's only been about 4 weeks since we made the claim. Really chuffed and all money except insurance was refunded, fuel surcharge, etc all included. All I can say is that this is a big relief, and I hope that everyone else affected get their claims through as quick as this. Missing Icmeler though, been home a week today
