We can't book to keep the room on 'till the day before we leave (nuts isn't it) and that's if the room isn't already allocated.
This is Avlu1, if we were going back to Sun Blue there wouldn't have been any problem. Just keep our fingers crossed that it's late in the season & rooms will be plentiful. So it would be even longer for us after being kicked out !!!!

Hubby said today "should we look if we can get a cheap week, fly out now". Well, only needed asking once......looked but can't find a cheapy deal yet. Just my luck, school holidays bump up the prices. I'll keep looking though.

Geordie, I've emailed our apartments, asked to book the extra night, only did it last night. Got a reply this morning, extra night booked !! All this is because Thomas Cooke have altered our flight times, yet again.

Shock News!! .... Geordie1970 is now officially Redundant as of yesterday!

Unipart Automotive closed most of their Branches yesterday and entered into Administaration .... With the loss of over 1200 jobs ... A small number of Branches were taken over by Competitors and some jobs we're saved .....

The Employess will not be paid at the end of this Month and will have to claim not only Redundancy, but this months wages from the Government fund and this could take up to 6 weeks ......

But despite all the above am I still coming back home in September for our 2nd visit this year and 10 days of luxury???













Too right I am!! .... It's 'PaulsPartyStore' full time for me and Mrs G now ...... Yee ha!

Bad news that Geordie. You'll survive it. Happened to me 8 years ago, got another job but hated it.
Then low & behold the firm Mr M worked for locked it's gates one night and next day the workers couldn't get in. All redundant, no warning, no money, no explanation. It took a while for government payout, but all came good in the end.

It will for you, I'm sure.

So does that mean as I'm skint I get 2 Drinks for free in September? Lol ... Only kidding, honestly me and Mrs G will be fine. The business makes more than enough for both of us plus 2 hols a year and with me now working on it full time then I'll be retired in 10 years!

We're taking the 3 kids for 2 nights to Blackpool on the 15/8, I don't do Rides etc, so if anyone's there and spots a tall bloke holding a handbag by the Rides .... That's me!!
