Hi Mandi we went to Sweet brothers last year and they were really good, our kids loved the food and the fuss although it would have lasted them a week  Welcome to the forum

I love the Pension Ida, Jimmy's wife (at the Okimo Bar) makes the most heavenly apple cake which goes down well with a coffee just before bed.

My favorite resturant is the Waterfall. this is because it has a spectacular view of the waterfall and of the mountains, its good for kids because it has animals you can look at. The food is apsolutley FAB!
i think you should try it out for your self :D
From Emily (the daughter 11) :P

hello

i am new to this forum.. only because i usually just read stuff and dont tend to post anything (sure there is a technical term!) anyway i felt compelled to register on here just so i could say how good i think the Wayside restaurant is. i have been going to turkey twice a year , most years, for approx 16 years, and as a result have eaten in numerous places. went to icmeler in 2006 and may this year and both visits ate at the wayside . in my opinion it is the best place i have eaten at over all those years... it just has the edge.... the decor is nice, food presentation excellent, and of course the food is excellent, staff well presented and the ambience is good. if you like your fish and chips and loud music, then maybe this isnt the place for you... but give it a try, you wont be disappointed. can recommend the autumn chicken and the wayside basket especially... but all is good.

we also had fantastic food at Deja vue... when we felt like a more lively night... entertainment was good. bye for now ...

thanks for that... i like this forum because it seems a bit more 'grown up' ie no text talk (so i stand a fighting chance of understanding it) and people dont seem to feel the need to copy and repost lengthy quotes before adding their own comment.. so it is much easier to read.

no... it does a variety of food... steaks, chicken , pasta and the like... i am no chef.. but would say it does the usual european food, a bit of turkish, but it varies from the usual pepper steak etc, although it does that too. try it... you wont be disappointed... in 2006 i went with my son who is veggie... and there was a good choice for him also, which isnt always easy abroad

Thanks Majie, might try it this year as we are staying nearby. And you're right sometimes vegetarians don't have a lot of choices.

Hi, my favourite restaurant is 4 seasons, I'm vegan and they go all out to help to cater for vegan's and veggies AND they have an extensive menu for all you meat eaters!! We ate there loads last year. Thanks Cherry and Frank!
Also loved the Love Boat, Florida, Chef, Dream Boys and a few others. Didn't like Sweet Brothers, thought it was really dirty and my son got food poisoning after eating there - never again.
Just joined the forum and think it's great! :D
