Would be intersetd to know-if there were only 1 or 2 of you rather than 5 would you still use ICR? I absolutely love the ICR transfer service and it made such a difference but sometimes as there is just two of us I cannot justify £90. To me this is two nights out in Icmeler spending money

Doz

If I was to be honest then yes I/we would . Its a lot of money but If its just me and the wife then WHY NOT  .

If we had to watch the £££s then resort hopper it would be...

Two of us last year £100 for ICR transfer. Shared mini bus with another couple who presumably also paid £100. Therefore charge was £200.00 for 4 people. Perhaps ICR could consider reducing the charge when more than one party sharing the mini bus as presumaby they must still make a profit if they send a bus for 2 people at £100. :?:

I dont doubt that ICR are great at transfers, llok at all the good reports they get. But as there is only the missus and me £30 return from resort hoppa/ or transfer only, who I use is, for us, a better value transfer. £90/100 for ICR is fine if ther are 4/5 of you but for 2 the difference in cost is more cash for us to spend in resort. People may counter ah but the transfer only takes 1 hour 20 minutes or whatever, my las 3 transfers with transfer only have taken 1 hour 45 minutes or so. An extra £60 for 30 minutes of a difference, sorry I know who I choose, if there is only the 2 of us.
However each to their own its great that we have a choice

We once booked a package holiday and used a coach transfer over 4 hours to get to Icmeler. This said Stewart, we have 2 young children who spend an hour to Manchester cooped up, 2 hours for check in trying to keep them quietish, 4 + hours on the plane teaching them to respect other passengers (do not allow them to make noise, climb on seats etc. normal parents!!!!) We are happy to pay the £100 for speedy delivery to Icmeler, our daughter was once really travel sick on the ICR transfer and the driver was fantastic and did not bat an eyelid bless him. So my £100 is part of our holiday funds :) :)

as Stewart said its good that we have a choice! Obviously everyones going to be different because everyones circumstances are different. I couldnt fault the private transfer and if I could afford it I would always go private but sometimes as Stewart said for the sake of an extra 30 mins £60 is a lot of money. Plus I always think it depends on what time you land at Dalaman. If you land in the middle of the night there isnt as much of a rush to get to resort because all you are doing is probably sleeping, but if its the middle of the day you can still catch some rays! :D

I have to say that last year we used both ICR transfer and the coaxch provided by our travel agent ,ICR,s minibus was fine other than the fact that the family we were on there with seemed to think they had solely booked it for themselves and it was rather crowded being sat in the front so was a relief to arrive at the Bonjour, the previous trip was by coach and i have to say the journey to icmeler was absolutely fine and the stop at the halfway point was also ok,i have to admit the return to the airport via the backstreets of Marmaris was a pain in the bum but we managed pretty well. see you all at vinces on the 21st for our first meal of our anniversary holiday

I am sure they would be happy to oblige, it would probably cost you £50, but give them a ring or email them just to double check.

On the matter of cost of the ICR Dalaman to Icmeler transfer on the last two occasions we have used it at £90,but on each of the return journeys we have shared with other couples who stayed and were picked up at a different hotel.
This means that both ourselves and them paid the price of £45 each to be taken to the airport,I agree with the utilisation of transport but surely a refund of £22.50 to both sets of passengers would be due.

that's why I stopped using them to be honest - on one occasion the mini-bus had around 12 people in it - maybe more, and we were the last drop off. The bus went all through Marmaris first and it took over 2 hours for us to get dropped off in Icmeler. I don't mind paying the cost at all, if it is value for money i.e. getting me to my hotel straight away! If i am expected to wait for all these drop offs I think some sort of refund should be due considering on that particular journey at least £270 was made. I have used another transfer company every other time since, and only ever been asked to share my journey once, and a partial refund was made.

The ICR transfers are not marketed as 'private' transfers. Therefore, we should probably expect to share. :) I pay my £100 for us as a family of 4 and the buses aren't that big to fit lots of others on anyway :D We have also had a taxi with ICR for our sole use :)

I must admit we have only ever used ICR and whilst there are cheaper alternatives. The travelling to the airport parking, transfer to the terminal, the flight itself, getting through customs etc , can make it well over a 12 hour day. So time and the prospect of that first effes makes the time saved worth it in my opinion for the two of us :)

I have never used ICR before for anything but after many recommedations I have booked acommodation and one way transfer with them. I don't mind sharing the minibus or dropping other people off, as long as the journey is nowhere near as long as the coach tranfers, which I have done twice a year for the past 5 years :?

Just aslong as our 4 months supply of luggage will fit in the bus

yeah, i know - just think that for that price maybe they should be private. The transfer company i use now are private and cheaper  not denying that ICR offer a good service, and obv aren't short on customers who use their service, just agreeing with John V that the price is a bit steep for the service provided compared to others

Totaly agree Colette, everything has been said several times.
You make your choice & pay for that service i.e. Coach, minibus or private transfer.
This Friday we will go by Taxi.

Exactly as Denis has said.

If we all chose or liked the same things the world would be a boring place.

You either use our service or you don't your choice not ours.

Taxi from Dalaman to Icmeler btw is now £70 one way

We used them last Oct and we are using them again when we come back in Oct. Little bit squashed but other than that perfectly OK. Barbara
