Why is it that number 2 and 8 won?
Number 8 had alot more votes than they did so i dont think its fair that number 8 have had to share there prize and now only get a week instead of 2.
can you explain why please x

Congradulations !!!

ICR 1st T-Shirt Contest is over! and we would like to thank all the participants and contributors in this contest we had running.

Personally I had so much fun. Also, personally and based on my knowledge which is not open to questioning, there are two winners to this contest.... both # 2 and #8 share the prize and get a week of accommodation and transfers for free in 2010...

Winners: Before you make a call to book you dates, please post on here that you are alive and that you are ok for ICR to publish your photos anywhere they like (i.e web site, newsletter etc)

Once done, go ahead and let us now of your dates and then we will get back to you with a confirmation and as to where we got you into for STAYING FOR FREE!!! and we shall be at your service at the Dalaman Airport for your FREE TRANSFERS!!!

PS:Next Contest will not be based on just votes but also by the amount of posts stating what each member voted
on. More to come on the next contest shortly...call 0151 289 3939 to ORDER YOUR T-SHIRT TODAYand enter to win a FREE HOLIDAY!

The winner is not decided by how many votes you get, its decided by how many UNIQUE votes that you get. So in other words, if you had the information that I have, we could easily say #2 is sharing her holidays with #8 :)

As we learn from our mistakes, next contest will be based on # of votes AS WELL AS how much contirbution each voting member has had on the forum in general. So, For instance, on the next contest, with such information below, your vote would not qualify.

Congrats to the winners

Not sour grapes here

However

cheating has been carried out
ie mutiple user names from same ip address (as stated by admin as a bannable offence)

seems highly unfair to those that have followed the rules, makes you think - why bother entering

Had to say my bit

No apologies

I will not congratulate the winners because of the blatant cheating methods used by both of the supposed winners.

From the 16th of December 09 to the 31st of December 09 we had 83 new members join, this works out at over 5 new members joining every day.
The first 3 days of this New Year we have had just two new members.

For a Company who bases itselfe on Honesty and Integrity I am quiet appalled that is rewarding not just one but two cheats instead of disqualifying them both.

I think that this fortnights holiday and transfare should be null and void.

I know the admins word is final but I for one find the whole fiasco distastefull.

Another one of the other eight who chose to play by the rules.

I agree with Gene on this one.
It seems unfair .
I did not vote and iam now glad I did not cast my vote :( .

For what it is worth number 2 would have got my vote.

I never entered either but here are my pics anyway,
My ICR t-shirt singed by some of the people we had the pleasure of meeting in 2009.

Ok guys time for this to end.

I have moderated this forum for a long time, and I think I have come to earn your trust on here and many of you as friends, so I hope you will believe me when I tell you, that when we took off the votes that were "disallowed" the two clear winners were still numbers 2 and 8 .

Take this as you will, but as Rami has stated very clearly already, we have learnt from our mistakes and will rectify things on the next competition.

If anyone has any questions please feel free to PM me for a chat.

Many Thanks

Colette :D

What does the integrity and honesty of this company got to do with the fun play of contest we had running? I think you gone a little over board there Gene by your comments...saying what you think about the contest is something else, trying to manupilate a final decision by involving company's reputation and so on, is another!

The contest is finished. You are under no obligation to enter for the next one. If we did not have the integrity, we would have announced the winners as our dogs,Pancho and Lara and saved our selves the holiday prize cost and all this hassle...

We tried to make it fun for everyone. We could easily disqualify the contest and keep the prize but we WILL NOT as that would then mean we are not trustworthy at all. We did say, we learn from our mistakes so we will take a different path on the next one to make sure it is as fair as possible.

(You have to realise that you can never be 100% sure in fairness of such contests...are you 100% sure that last elections in the Uk were 100% fairly done? Did this stop you from casting your vote? ANyways, going off topic, you know what I am trying to say here....) We pay the prize here, you do not. You bought a shirt and we said, go ahead, get some good piccies done and we will see if yours gets picked so to win a prize etc...

I am sure there are other members out there who feel that we were only out there for a good cause, trying our best to be fair and that, we were simply trying to give back to the community we owe for where we are today.

We are fair, honest and trustworthy in everything we do and will continue to be as always.
