after staying with my boyfriends family in izmir last week i now love turkish breakfasts
my boyfriends mum is amazing at cooking and her breakfasts were always lovely
cant wait to get back to icmeler to have some more
might have the odd english breakfast too as they are really nice as well in some places in icmeler

It has got to be The Travellers Rest, Christine & Ramazan serves a great homemade Breakfast - we will definately be going there when we return on 1st May cant wait...

we always go for the nicest breaky ni this little place in the old village, unfortunately i don't remember the name of it but its quiet and just around the corner from dejavu across the road. Big breakfast, real sausages and the whole thing cooked to perfection 6lira and worth every penny

Well I can't wait to have breakfast in Icmeler but definately won't be the english breakfast! Turkish breakfast for me everyday!!! Best Turkish breakfast I've ever had is up on the hill looking over they bay.....is it called cafe del mar?! It's often mentioned on here but right now the name escapes me.

Can't think of a better way to spend a morning, eating my turkish breakfast and looking over the bay! Wonderful - I'm gettin so excited just thinking about it! Roll on June!

Although, I must say I have had an english breakfast in Venice, after one particularly heavy night out and it was lovely

Hi Julie - a Turkish breakfast can vary slightly from one place to another, but generally speaking, you get lovely fresh bread, butter, jam and honey, olives, tomatoes, cucumbers, cheese and eggs. Sometimes there is fruit and yogurt too - and of course, tea and coffee.

thanks sounds lovely i do like english breakfast but get a bit fed up after a few days so might try that.
